Isn't it time for them to sojourn out of here?

The Democratic Party's defense of the SCHIP bill would be ironic in light of their radical defense of all forms of abortion, except that it's completely unintentional, and thus nothing more than an addendum to the volumes of ideological blunders we've come expect from our friends in blue. Of course, Jim Wallis is upset, but then again Mr. Wallis makes the late Jerry Falwell look like a paragon of theological interpretation and rationalism.

wanna back those statements up, mister? your words only allude faintly to your actual arguments, but you in no way make them clear.
i'm left thinking you're bitter instead of the reasoned man I know you to be.

That Jim Wallis blog post now holds a place among the least-logical things I've ever read, as well as a spot in the comical-if-not-sad category. I would respond to it, but I don't have enough time to go through and point out the many flaws in almost every statement.

Even NPR reported that most of the children covered by the SCHIP bill are not currently uninsured.

Stephen, we wouldn't want you to spend all your time correcting people there. It would just take away from the engineering excellence we've all come to know, and to be honest, expect from you. In any event, I might blog on Wallis a bit later in the evening. While listening to the new Radiohead.
